Monitoring was carried out by JPIK Central Java in April 2016.
Monitoring results indicate an indication of nonconformity:
- Verifier 1.1.1. (D). In the implementation of complete licensing, JPIK Central Java did not find any company name board of PT WBI in front of the company. Permendag No. 37 / M-DAG / PER / 9/2007 jo. P.116 / M-DAG / PER / 12/2015 concerning the Implementation of Company Registration in article 9 (10) Companies that have received TDP must install TDP in a place that is easy to read and publicly seen and the TDP number must be listed on the signboard and documents company documents used in their business activities.
- Verifier 1.1.1 (f). In conducting environmental monitoring, PI found that PT WBI did not have a waste disposal site. PI found waste that was dumped directly into the river water flow and caused river water to be pitch black. In addition, waste originating from PT WBI also affected the rice fields surrounding the location and there was no compensation from PT WBI to the affected farmers.
- Verifier2.3. Found workers under the age of 17 years.
A complaint report has been submitted to PT BRIK QS on December 2, 2016 and on December 9, 2016, PT BRIK QS provided a response to the complaint material submitted.
