JPIK is an independent forest monitoring network in Indonesia that collects and verifies field evidence to promote transparency, law enforcement, and improvements in forest governance. With a network spread across 26 provinces, JPIK’s findings serve as a basis for policy advocacy and strengthening community roles in forest protection.

Monitoring
We conduct direct investigations to monitor forestry crimes and the implementation of SVLK.
Publications
Strengthening the capacity of independent monitors in conducting monitoring as a safeguard to ensure improvements in forest governance. Capacity building covers SVLK issues and broader forestry issues.
Advocacy
We promote regulatory improvements and legal follow-up through strategic dialogue with the government and law enforcement agencies.
