Friday (09/03) – JPIK’s analysis of the availability of information on assessment / verification and surveillance as well as the availability of public resumes as a result of evaluations conducted by verification institutions in the 2014-2016 period has not been fully available to the public.

In the JPIK SVLK report: The Responsible Governance Process released in Jakarta on Wednesday (28/2) stated that in broad outline JPIK found that the information that should be available to the public was not fully available. The information that is not yet available is, among others, in the form of (a) availability of announcements of assessment / verification plans, (b) availability of public resumes as a result of initial certification and (c) availability of surveillance resumes from surveillance.

According to JPIK’s observation of a total of 389 sampling of 21 LVLK or an average of ± 20 sampling for each LVLK (there are 25 LVLK as of September 1, 2017), it is not yet fully available to the public. “JPIK analyzes that the information that should be available to the public is not fully available, this obligation is not fully fulfilled by all LVLK that have been accredited by KAN and have been determined by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry”.
